Since 1981, Comedy Works has been Denver’s premier destination for stand-up comedy. Called one of the “Top Five Comedy Clubs in the Country” by USA Today, it consistently attracts the best comedians such as Ellen DeGeneres, Jamie Foxx, and Jerry Seinfeld.
Here are a few upcoming performers at Comedy Works to enjoy a night full of laughs:
Todd Glass (February 15-18)
Todd Glass is a Philadelphia native, and his comedy is often satirical. With his unique delivery, he is a favorite at clubs across the country. And when he’s not on stage, Todd is often on television programs such as Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Joey Diaz (February 22-24)
Joey Diaz is one of the most popular actors and comedians in the industry today. His stand-up routines are “insanely funny,” and his passion for performing is evident every time he takes the stage. Audience members may recognize him from shows such as General Hospital and My Name is Earl.
Brian Posehn (March 1-3)
Known as one of the original members of Comedians of Comedy, Brian Posehn keeps audiences laughing from start to finish. His successful career has also included appearances on programs such as Lady Dynamite and The Big Bang Theory. When Brian’s not on stage or in front of the camera, he is busy hosting a podcast called Nerd Poker.
Big Jay Oakerson (March 8-10)
Jay Oakerson hails from New York City where he is easily recognized. With his charm and delivery, he typically sells out clubs across the United States, and according to The New York Times, he is the “Master of the dirty joke.” He recently released his first stand-up special called Big Jay Oakerson: Live at Webster Hall. He’s also been seen on Comedy Underground with Dave Attell and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
