The Best Nearby Wine Bars

Winemaking is an age-old tradition, and this delicious beverage hails from nearly every corner of the world. There are ten thousand grape varieties, and European wines are named after their geographic location while non-European wines take their name from the different types of grapes.

The good news is, you can experience these varieties at nearby wine bars close to your home at The Retreat at Park Meadows. So, if you’d like to enjoy a glass of red or white wine this evening, head to one of the following destinations:

Max’s Wine Dive

The inspiration for Max’s Wine Dive came about after Jerry and Laura Lasco realized that their favorite hangouts were laid-back restaurants and wine bars that were both unpretentious and comfortable. Guests enjoy its eclectic atmosphere that is complete with a casual, industrial feel. Also, customers rave about the friendly servers who offer suggestions for the perfect food and wine pairings.

The wines come from across the globe, and some of them can’t be found anywhere else. Choices include Buttercake Chardonnay, Arindo Spanish White, and Urban Riesling. Each pair well with meals such as Southern fried chicken and tender belly pork chops.

Cana Wine Bar

When Kristian and Amy Geiger enjoyed their first wine adventure on their honeymoon, they knew that their love for wine was going to last a lifetime. After completing wine education classes through the International Wine Guild, they opened Cana which features both indoor and outdoor seating.

Thrillist has called it one of the best destinations of its type in Denver.  Customers also rate it five-stars on Yelp as they appreciate the intimate atmosphere, attentive service, and varied selection. The prices are reasonable, and choices include Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, and Tempranillo.

These are just two of the nearby wine bars within a short distance to The Retreat at Park Meadows. If you’re looking for a place to call home, please contact us to schedule a tour. We would love to show you all that our community has to offer.
