Warm Up with a Hot Drink at these Favorite Coffee Shops in Lone Tree

It’s officially freezing and the best way to combat these temperatures is by meeting up with a friend for coffee, hot chocolate, or tea. In addition to several Caribou Coffees and Starbucks cafes, there are a variety of smaller coffee shops in Lone Tree. In fact, you might just find your favorite new relaxation spot!

Lincoln Station

Only a three-minute drive from The Retreat at Park Meadows, Lincoln Station offers an interesting mix of coffee, pizza, and music. They proudly serve Allegro Coffee which is made right here in Colorado. They also have hot teas, chai lattes, and hot chocolate. Cold drinks include Italian sodas, frappes, smoothies, and protein shakes.

There are plenty of food choices at Lincoln Station, too. Breakfast is served until 11:30 am. FYI: breakfast burritos seem to be their specialty!

For lunch or dinner, the menu includes salads, paninis, sandwiches, and pizza. All pizzas are 9-inches and are made to order. For those nights when you just want to stay in the warmth of your own luxurious apartment home, order through GrubHub.

Every Thursday and Friday from 7-10 pm is open mic night. It’s a great way to hear local talent! If you want to perform, call on Thursday as early as possible. On Saturdays, they host a local band. To find out more about their live music, or if you want to learn more about playing an instrument, check out their separate website.

303 Coffee Co.

Just a few more minutes in the other direction, 303 Coffee Company serves locally-owned Coda Coffee which has earned the prestigious title of macro-roaster of the year. Their baristas know how to make a delicious cup of coffee/mocha/espresso.

Now, if you’re in the mood for a cold drink, you should definitely try a Bear Drink. Have you ever thought to mix Coke with cold-brewed espresso? That’s what 303 did with the Cola Bear, and it’s even available in diet. They also have nitro cold brew on tap, Italian sodas, and smoothies.

To complement your drink, enjoy a pastry, parfait, or even a breakfast burrito. There are several gluten-free options as well.

Francy’s Gourmet Roastery & Cafe

It’s definitely the furthest away from The Retreat at Park Meadows, but it’s worth the extra few minutes to Francy’s Gourmet Roastery & Cafe. The coffee beans come straight from Colombia and are roasted in-house 3-5 times a week.

The breakfast is out of this world; in fact, try the Colombian Calentao or an Arepa with eggs. The weekend menu (which is only served on Saturday since they’re closed on Sunday) includes an incredible Colombian chowder.

Curl up in a comfy chair with a good book or pull up a chair to one of the many tables to study or work. The owners love having customers who enjoy spending time in their cafe.

We know it’s tempting to hibernate in the winter. After all, the apartment homes at The Retreat at Park Meadows are first-rate and the community amenities are outstanding. Yet, it’s good to get out and meet new people or catch up with friends. Go ahead and set up a date at one of these fantastic coffee shops. If you’re looking for a new place to call home, go ahead and contact us for a tour. We know you’ll be impressed and we’d love to welcome you here.
