Coors Field

Take Me Out to the Ball Game! Spend a Day at Coors Field

Do you want to enjoy an evening of baseball? If so, head to Coors Field in nearby Denver. Known as the most exciting park in baseball history, it has been the home of the Colorado Rockies since 1995. It offers much for visitors to see and do including:

The Sandlot Brewery

When The Sandlot opened, it became the first brewery inside a Major League ballpark. The brewmasters brew approximately 1,500 barrels of beer every year, and their creations have won numerous awards. Alcohol is sold through the final pitch, and the taproom is only open when the Rockies are at home.

Coors Field Garden

Found behind the center field wall, the Coors Field Garden resembles a baseball field. It features raised beds that terrace upwards from the garden’s “infield” to the outfield stands. The gardeners plant a variety of herbs and vegetables which are used by the chefs at the Mountain Ranch Club restaurant.

Captain’s Deck

Located on the mezzanine level, the Captain’s Deck offers unparalleled views of center field. It is open to all fans and comes complete with a full-service bar, flat-screen televisions, and a concessions stand.

Autographs

Fans may ask players for autographs from up to 40 minutes before game time or when batting practice ends, whichever comes first. Designated sections include 116 to 121 and 142 to 146.

Coors Field Tours

The ballpark tours offer a unique look behind-the-scenes. They last between 70-80 minutes and are held at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on evening game days. Tickets are $12 for adults, and the net proceeds benefit the Colorado Rockies Foundation.
