Being a resident of the Retreat at Park Meadows Apartments means you have a cultural treasure in your community. Lone Tree Arts Center (LTAC) is a fabulous venue to take in the performing arts and visual arts. Here’s what LTAC has to offer.
An Art Gallery
Throughout the year, the Lone Tree Arts Center Gallery hosts several exhibitions, including a juried show and two invitationals to promote the work of Colorado-based artists. The gallery is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and two hours before LTAC performances. Best of all, if you see something that would look great in your apartment, you can purchase it through the LTAC box office.
Indoor Performances
You can enjoy live music, dance performances, and plays inside LTAC’s intimate main stage theater. Although the venue can seat 500 people, every seat is less than 60 feet from the stage. No matter what genres of music you prefer, LTAC has you covered. Previous concertgoers have been treated to the musical stylings of entertainers like Jim Messina, American Idol winner Ruben Studdard, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and The Temptations. Also, past dramatic performances include a show based on the life of Eva Peron called EVITA and August Wilson’s Fences.
Outdoor Concerts
Every year LTAC puts an outdoor concert series called Tunes on the Terrace. The live musical performances take place at LTAC’s 350-seat outdoor terrace theater. Renowned entertainers like jazz vocalist Kathy Kosins, country singer Kevin MaC, and rock band FACE are among the past performers who’ve wowed audiences here. Your ticket includes an assigned seat, but you’re welcome to bring a blanket and picnic dinner to enjoy on the lawn.
