Discover The Best Bird-Watching Near Lone Tree

Spring brings sunshine, blue skies, and the perfect opportunity to get outdoors and watch nature come to life. Bird watching is a enjoyable way to relieve stress and connect with your surroundings. Some of the best bird-watching locales near our Lone Tree apartments include:

DENVER AUDUBON NATURE CENTER

You won’t want to miss your chance to visit the bird banding station at the Denver Audubon Nature Center. Open only in May, the bird banding station, where scientists study and apply bands to the wild birds, allows visitors to see some species up close. Coursing over 8.6 miles of land, the nine hiking trails are open year-round. Be sure to bring your camera!

PLAINS CONSERVATION CENTER

If it’s a bald eagle or a red-tailed hawk you’re hoping to spot, try heading over to the Plains Conservation Center. In addition to trails for birdwatching, you can visit the historical 1880s tipi camp and homestead village. The Plains Conservation Center hosts many guided hikes and educational programs, including botany, photography, and astronomy.

BLUFF LAKE NATURE CENTER

Bluff Lake has more than 120 acres of tranquil space devoted to a wildlife refuge and environmental education. As a non-profit, Bluff Lake Nature Center is committed to fostering a relationship between the community and nature. Check it out on Facebook or Instagram, and RSVP for an upcoming free guided bird walk.

After a morning of bird-watching, you will want to take a moment to grab a refreshing bubble tea. From the retreat of nature to the Retreat at Park Meadows, we are ready to welcome you home. Please contact us today for a tour of our apartments in Lone Tree.
