Explore The Hudson Gardens & Event Center Near Lone Tree

Not far from our Lone Tree apartments, you’ll find the perfect place for branching out. We are talking about The Hudson Gardens & Event Center, where you can explore trails and exhibits and enjoy breathtaking views. Here is some of what you can discover during your next visit:

Community Beekeepers

The Hudson Gardens strives to raise awareness about honeybees and their conservation. It offers a community apiary setting where both new and experienced beekeepers can practice the craft of beekeeping. The Hudson features an array of nectar sources, and the hives are maintained by keepers who apply to the program on a yearly basis. If you’re interested in learning more about the beekeeping classes, you can check out the gardens’ calendar.

Bird Walks

Don’t miss the monthly bird walks hosted by an Audubon Master Birder. As you watch for nature’s feathery creatures, you will get to know other birders and learn useful tips for a day of birdwatching fun.

Self-Guided Art Walk

Full of amazing pieces, the self-guided art walk features 21 sculptures spread out over 30 acres. A highlight includes Dorothy & Friends. Dedicated to the memory of Dorothy Vogt, this work shows her as a young child reading the Land of Oz with her faithful dog by her side.

Colorado Garden

True to its name, the Colorado Garden highlights plants that grow well throughout the Centennial State. The blooms are full of color, and the garden teaches visitors how to reduce water usage and help the pollinator population. Flowers include red yuccas, hummingbird mint, and prairie coneflowers.

After visiting The Hudson Gardens & Event Center, you can enjoy some of the best lobster rolls around Lone Tree.
