Have Fun at the Amusement Parks around Lone Tree

When you’re looking to enjoy some hair-raising fun, head to a local amusement park. You are sure to get your heart pumping as you reach new heights on Denver’s best roller coasters or make your way down the thrill slides. The amusement parks near our Lone Tree apartments include:

Lakeside Amusement Park

At Lakeside, you will find the largest amusement park in the Rocky Mountain region. It opened with a crowd of 50,000 on May 30, 1908. The park has only changed ownership twice, and today, many of the classic rides remain. Enjoy the Cyclone roller coaster, a thrilling 140-foot tower drop, and more. The park also offers fun games and tasty food.

Elitch Gardens

Home to Colorado’s only theme and water park combination, Elitch Gardens offers exciting roller coasters, lazy rivers, and other attractions to keep you entertained. It has been a local favorite since 1890. The park featured one of the first zoos west of Chicago and was the site of Denver’s first motion picture theater. Don’t miss riding Twister II. This wooden coaster boasts a 10-story superstructure with a 90-foot drop and a pitch-black tunnel. Elitch Gardens opens for the season on April 30th.

Water World

Get wet at Water World. It offers an array of attractions, whether you’re looking for thrills or something more low-key. The fun includes The Wave, Gunnison River, and Warp Speed. Then, take a break and enjoy a meal at the Creekside Cafe. Menu choices include chicken, pizza, and burgers. You can easily purchase tickets for Water World online.

For another way to enjoy an afternoon, race around a local go-kart track. Finally, if you would like to make Retreat at Park Meadows your new home, please contact us. Our team will gladly show you everything our apartments in Lone Tree have to offer.
