Experience and Enjoy Local Culture at Lone Tree Arts Center

Lone Tree has a vibrant arts community, and the Lone Tree Arts Center is the perfect place to experience it. From theatrical performances to talks, lectures, and events, arts and culture come alive. So pick an event to attend, get involved, and support your local cultural scene.

A Growing Legacy

In 2008, the path to a community arts center was paved when the Citizens of Lone Tree authorized its construction. From this, an innovative and LEED-certified environmentally-friendly facility was built. The facility includes a 500 seat main stage, 225 seat event hall, gallery space, and an outdoor terrace.

Today, Lone Tree Arts Center has become a haven for culture in our community.

A Full Performance Schedule

The arts center puts on many performances of its own each year, and they also invite local performing arts companies to stage their productions in the facility. In fact, this season will highlight classic albums live, hip-hop, rhyme, and spoken word performances, family-friendly plays and musicals as well as tributes to legendary singers like Aretha Franklin.

A Spotlight on Local Artists

The gallery regularly features the work of local visual artists. Art lovers will appreciate the depiction of local and international wildlife, cityscapes, and sculpture. Coming this year, the gallery will display the works of Janice Sugg, a western landscape artist. Everyone is welcome to the opening reception on January 18th.

Other gallery highlights will include wildlife photography, an art expo, and a public art program.

An All-Inclusive Community

The mission of Lone Tree Arts Center is to make the arts available to everyone. The building is fully handicap accessible and the programs and performances are open to everyone. In fact, certain performances are considered sensory-friendly and are developed to accommodate anyone with sensory issues.

Support the Arts

Like most art programs, the Lone Tree Art Center is a non-profit organization and depends on donors and volunteers to keep the mission alive. There are many ways to donate, and volunteers are always welcome to help out with fundraising efforts and at the center’s many annual events and programs.
