Coffee shops in Denver are everywhere in the community, but it’s the local businesses that we like to support. Luckily, our apartments in Lone Tree are surrounded by some pretty amazing Lone Tree coffee shops. They use local roasters to concoct their delicious drinks. Here are three of our favorite spots to stop in and warm up near The Retreat at Park Meadows:
Monk & Mongoose
Monk & Mongoose is rated on Yelp as the best coffee shop in the area. Also, it’s only five minutes south of our apartments in Lone Tree. Their espresso and coffee are brewed exclusively with Denver’s own internationally recognized coffee: Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters. Specialty loose leaf teas, hand brews, and house-made syrups round out the menu. They also have fresh pastries if you need a quick bite. The shop is bright and clean, with an outdoor patio to enjoy those classic bluebird days. Doors open at 6:30 a.m. on Monday through Saturday and at 7:00 a.m. on Sundays.
303 Coffee Co
303 Coffee Co is less than 10 minutes away. You can make a convenient stop if you’re heading north into town. This neat little place sources as many products as possible from local companies, including breakfast items and honey. They carry Coda Coffee, a locally owned roaster voted micro-roaster of the year by Roast Magazine. They also sell over 20 different kinds of beans for you to brew at home. Enjoy online ordering through their website when you’re in a hurry.
Modern Brew
Modern Brew is a little over 10 minutes to the northwest of our Lone Tree apartments. They focus on quality coffees and homemade food. The business also offers craft beer and wine. They use Pablo’s Coffee for all of their coffee drinks and have a variety of unique hot beverages, including a turmeric ginger latte, chocolate espresso martini, dirty chai, and matcha latte. Be sure to check their hours of operation online before stopping by. Modern Brew closes for lunch during the weekdays and opens later on weekends.
