These performances have been around for close to 50 years thanks to the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Don’t miss this bright, beautiful show presented with the help of Denver’s Mexican Cultural Center.
She Rocks With Tara Vaughan on July 19
From Aretha Franklin to Janis Joplin, Tara Vaughan does it all. She Rocks with Tara Vaughan features music from a range of great female artists from the 1960s to 80s performed expertly—and powerfully—by Tara Vaughan. On July 19, sit back and experience three decades of music with a soul. Enjoy the whole performance outdoors at the Center’s Terrace Theater.
Carlos Washington’s Steel Horse Swing on August 2
Also at the Terrace Theater, Carlos Washington’s Steel Horse Swing will blend original songs with classic inspiration. The whole show is bringing western swing music to Lone Tree. It has been compared to great shows from Hank Thompson and Bob Wills. If you’re looking for a performance that will have you dancing in your seat, get tickets for Steel Horse Swing on August 2.
