Where to Find Vegan and Vegetarian Food in Lone Tree

If you’re looking to eat healthier or less meat this year, you’re in luck! More and more restaurants are offering meat-free, vegan, and vegetarian options. The next time you eat out, try these four restaurants in Lone Tree:

Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh

Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh opened its first restaurant in Colorado and now has locations in several states. At Garbanzo, you can get a fully customized meal which makes it easy to eat vegan and vegetarian.

You choose an entree base like a pita, wrap, or bowl. Their tortilla and pita bread options are vegan, free of milk and eggs. The flatbread option does contain dairy, however. You can find more allergen info on their website. Pick a protein of portobello mushrooms and fill up your entree with vegan options like hummus, rice, tabbouleh, falafel, and baba ganoush.

For sauces and salad dressings, all but the tzatziki and garlic sauce are vegan. Note that their baklava does contain dairy and honey.

Cranelli’s Italian Restaurant

Craving Italian cuisine? Family-owned and operated, Cranelli’s is not to be missed. The menu is very vegetarian-friendly, and many dishes can be made vegan by request.

For pasta, you can’t go wrong with Aglio O Olio; just ask to leave the cheese out. They also have tomato basil and marinara sauce dishes. For pizza, order one without cheese and top it with lots of veggies.

Cranelli’s is very accommodating to vegans, so just mention it to the server. Don’t forget to check their online calendar for weekly food-themed nights, drink specials, and community events.

Viet Pho

Another local and family-owned restaurant to try is Viet Pho. With a menu tagline like “Tradition and Flavor in a Healthy Meal,” you know it’s going to be a good one!

Start with the fresh spring rolls, and ask to substitute the meat with tofu. Vietnamese pho soups are usually made with a beef broth, but thankfully, Viet Pho offers a vegetable broth. Their pho chay (chay meaning vegetarian/vegan) is filled with vegetables and tofu.

If you’re not feeling soup, order their vegetarian rice noodle plate or one of their Thai curries instead. Just make sure to request it without fish sauce.

Seasons 52

There are plenty of meat-free options at Seasons 52. If you go to their website, you can look at their menu items by dietary preference and how to customize the dish.

If you want to veganize one of their salads, for example, request an oil and vinegar dressing and opt out of the cheese. Some of their dishes are already vegan, like the grilled artichokes with lemon hummus or the gnocchi with winter vegetables.

They also have plenty of vegan sides, so stack up!
