They’ll help you find the right boot width and other features for peak performance. Along with the skis and snowboards, you can also shop for goggles, jackets, gel gloves, and more.
Outabounds Ski & Snowboard
Family-owned, Outabounds Ski & Snowboard started serving the local ski and snowboard community in 2010. Owner Marie Kelso began skiing at the age of seven. She’s married to a Vail Resort ski instructor and enjoys sharing her passion for the sport with others. The selection includes both new and used gear. In addition, the shop also offers rentals. Renting offers a great way to try the equipment before buying.
Eskimo Ski & Board Shop
Voted “top of the town” by Denver voters, the Eskimo Ski & Board Shop opened in 1939. It’s now the oldest specialty ski store in the United States. Founder Frank Bulkley wanted to offer affordable rental gear to local families. Today, the staff carries on his mission of providing reasonable prices and some of the friendliest customer service around. They’ll help you find the right rentals, or you can shop from the extensive line of clothing and accessories. Eskimo also offers a full-service repair and maintenance shop. The technicians boast years of experience and will keep your gear in top shape throughout the season.
